I recently started using this method to key the K2 with a paddle as well as a 
bug and contest program.  I've not had a problem yet, and I often send around 
30-35 wpm.  In fact, it's kinda hard to squeeze the paddles at exactly the same 
time even on purpose!  Definitely worth a try.
