Yes, I see that the Aoyue brand is 220 V (as a standard, but 120 V
available) and the 936 and 936A differ in both the wattage of the heaters
and country of mfg (Chinese mfg versus Japanese mfg).
This could explain some of the "bad reports" (early failures, fail on
physical shock) that I have heard about ceramic heaters in irons.
