[Elecraft] OT: Demagnetize Soldering Tip?

Hello elecrafters,

recently I worked on my hifi-speakers, I had to replace the
bass-speaker. I somehow must have magnetized the soldering tip,
it will not stop heating. In fact, it becomes glowing red!
What can I do to demagnetize it? Do I have to replace the tip?

It is a Weller WTCP-S, it has a magnetic tip to control
heat.
