Hi Tom,

In CW mode, the K2's power output level is controlled in firmware. This 
allows us to preserve the rig's excellent keying waveform. It can take 
a few dits (or one dash, usually) to settle when you change bands.

Most other rigs close the power-control loop using hardware. This can 
result in poor rise/fall characteristics and wide-band clicks at 
certain power levels.
