Hi Dave:

Well... while I cannot say I've operated my K2/100 EXTENSIVELY mobile, I
will say that I've run it mobile a NUMBER of times and with complete
satisfaction.
The rig's been very stable on frequency control and the Noise Reduction
feature of the KDSP2 has been a BIG benefit... as has the KNB2.
When I run mobile, I also use the KAT100, and it's worked flawlessly.
I'm a 'lefty', so I have my Bencher Paddles mounted TO the driver's-side
door panel with a mount I fabricated from scrap PC board... pix available
for the asking to any lefties who might be interested. This allows me to
rest my arm comfortably upon the driver's left arm rest and to send without
contorting my fist or wrist into some configuration I'd never be able to
recover from.
I made a home-made version of the RigRunner, with five (5) fused 12VDC
outlets and the KPA100 and KAT100 plug into it.
The rig hears almost as well as it does when it's at home, but an old
SwanTenna mobile whip is no adequate substitute for a tribander (or
dipoles) at 70'.
If you have any specific questinos, I'll try to respond appropriately.
