[Elecraft] KX1 SN 664 on the air

Hello Elecrafters -
 
I picked up my KX1 with all the options in Dayton this year. Spent last week
coming to work early and going home late to take advantage of our lab
equipment to build the radio. Finished the basic unit Thursday. By Sunday
afternoon (yesterday) the antenna tuner and 30m module were completed.
 
First contact was last night about 2300Z. I heard F8DPN calling CQ on 20M.
Called him (I wasn't really expecting a reply) and he came right back to me.
Gave me a 579!
 
I've never had this kind of success with my HW8.
 
Thanks Wayne and Eric for a great little radio! Or shall I say a great radio
