[Elecraft] K2 Long Term Reliability.

Hi John,  K1jd, & all others!
My K2 #0681 will be 5yo this coming Nov.
I, too, have often thought about the reliability issue & have silently
marvelled at just how reliable these little rigs are.
To me, however, the main feature is the obvious fact that the K2 design, and
performance is so REPEATABLE, as evidenced by the sheer number of these
little rigs on the bands today & the fact that we hams, all of varying ages,
skills & knowledge have been able to - relatively easily - get them
performing.
THAT kind of original design has got to be close to genius - so big kudos to
Eric & Wayne!
And John, if you recall, it was our QSO, way back in early '99, when you
were /QRP with your K2, that got me into ordering mine - Thanks!
