hi - regarding the 3rd step from the bottom in the K60XV instructions.

There are three steps that describe adjusting C1 and C2 on the K60XV for 60m receive and transmit. After that, you are instructed to "Switch to 40m and repeat the previous 3 steps."

This would seem to imply that C1 and C2 should be adjusted now for 40m - if K1 on the K60XV does what I think it does, C1 and C2 have no effect on 40m operation.

I believe this step should read: "Switch to 40m and repeat the previous 3 steps, adjusting L1 and L2 on the RF board using the green plastic adjustment tool provided with the K2."

Please correct me if I am wrong!

thanks! - jeff wk6i

ps: I also found the following suggestions for the manual:

- pg 9: I noticed that with the 7/8" length, and after soldering the ground braid first as instructed, the center wire was just not flexible enough to bend back to J13 pin 6 (for a pre-3000 board). I had to take an extra 1/8" off of it, which was a minor pain with the cable attached to the RF board.

- pg 10: it is kind of obvious while you are doing it, but someone could forget to resolder it... the center conductor wire for the 160m module needs to be unsoldered and resoldered when moving it to the new heat sink panel.
