[Elecraft] Elecraft awards program

Friends,
There has not been much activity seen here for the Elecraft Awards
certificates.
No applications have been received since mid-March this year. I know band
conditions have been depress of late and probably will not improve for
several more years. Of course, this makes QRP operating more of a
challenge.

So, I am thinking of giving up the administration of this activity for
lack of interest in the Elecraft community. I initiated the awards and
have been taking care of it for the past two years. To date, 14 CC and 34
WAS awards have been issued. I'll give it a few more months in the hope
that some of you near completion will make application. Then if the
program is to continue, I would probably be looking for someone to step
up to the plate and take over. This has been a labor of love; it is not a
money-making effort, nor was it intended to be.
