Tom,

You are correct on both counts.  I might add - if the KPA100 is mounted in a
separate enclosure, then the KIO2 is also needed in the QRP K2 case so the
AUXBUS and VRFDET signals can be exchanged.
I don't have a KIO2 to sell, but they are available from Elecraft.
