[Elecraft] Mychael's Pre Wound Toroids

When I built my K2, I felt that winding the toroids was one of the few
parts of the process where my own skill and craftsmanship could be used. I
doubt if I did as good a job as Mychael, but at least I can feel that I
built all of my K2, not just 95% per cent of it, and if it has any special
mojo, perhaps my toroid winding had something to do with it!

I am paid to be a broadcast engineer. I work with electronics all day long.
I had a great time building my K2, and I will probably be ordering one more
to build for a remote base, very soon. Even though winding the coils is not
difficult, to me, the amount of time saved by not tinning them alone was
worth the money. And Mychael runs the kind of business that backs up
Elecraft. I just wish car repair shops ran as well.

It is not much money, and you will have plenty of fun building the K2 aside
from the torroids.
