calibration -
Step 3 covers the CAL FIL info for both CW and SSB, and has a number of
links to additional information. I believe it will answer your
questions.
I believe the 'real' key is to align the SSB filters so that the low
frequency -3dB point of the filter bandpass is located at approximately
300
Hz - that seems to work well for the majority of speech frequency
patterns.
