[Elecraft] KX1 display segment blinks when keying

Hello.
 
I just completed the receiver portion of my KX1 assembly and while testing
the keyer input I noticed that the vertical segment on the lower left side
of the left-most digit on the display comes on when the rig is keyed.
 
Is this normal or do I have a problem?
