I have not noticed this.  I know that every 5 kHz or so you will get a click
if there is a strong signal in the IF passband, but that is a normal
function of the K2 syntehsizer.

Try setting the KDSP2 to BYPASS and see if you still get the noise.  If so,
it is unlikely DSP releated.
