Guys, I use a laptop computer shoulder carrybag - brilliant,
has space for QRP tuner, my 6-amp SMPS, the microphone, a
mains extension cable, and of course the K2, and an A5 size,
contacts log book.
I have a roll of antenna wire that I throw in as well, and
a few screwdrivers, long nose pliers and a pair of wire
cutters - just in case!.
The carry bag adequately protects the equipment from rain,
and is also well padded to take bumps and knocks. I do put a
piece of "high density" foam across the face of the K2,
about 32mm thick.
Why re-invent the wheel? My carrybag cost me about $19.00
here in South Africa! I'm sure one can get similar bags from
your computer suppliers in the States!
Cheers,
Bob Innes
