[Elecraft] N4PY Software allows Dual RX with K2 - IMPRESSIVE

I have been playing around with dual RX with a K2 and TenTec RX320 and
N4PY's Pegasus software - it is VERY impressive! The RX320 tracks VFO-B
on the K2. (If you have never used dual RX on DX running split you don't
know what you're missing).

I took the RX antenna input jack and moved the center conductor wire
from the "normal position" on the 160 filter board to the pad on the
downstream side of the antenna by-pass jumper that is not present when
the 160 filter is installed - common to Pin 1 on the 160 filter... So
now what is normally the RX antenna INPUT is now the RX antenna OUTPUT.
I haven't worked out muting the RX320 yet - and it may not be necessary
as I have an I.C.E. RX protector in the antenna line, so the only issue
(at least on 40 CW where I have tried it so far) - is it takes the AGC
on the RX 320 a bit to recover - but not so long to be a real problem.
Might be more of a problem on SSB. Probably just a relay driven by the
PA key out in series with the audio from the RX320 will be enough.

You can apparently do the same with a second K2 - but I want to have 2
dual-RX K2's - so time to order another RX320 - (already have the K2)!
Now on to the WPX-CW test.
