Phoenix Technologies, actually. I worked there at the time. They made 
good money for longer than they should have licensing that "clean 
room" BIOS -- even though, if you ever saw the source, you'd agree it 
was remarkably difficult to maintain dreck, compared to the simple 
BIOS listing in the "IBM PC Hardware Reference Manual."

What does this have to do with radios again? Oh yeah, PIC code...
