G'day,
| Hello all,
| Does anyone have any experience with building or operating the Oak
| Hills Research model WM-2 QRP wattmeter? It looks like a good QRP meter
| that would be a nice tool for building and operating Elecraft radios.
What
| can you tell me about it? Or, do you know of a better meter to
recommend?
| Thanks in advance.
Built and own one. A bit of point to point wiring which is a shock after
the K2 but not an issue.
Also got the 100W RF Load. There are two published methods by which the
load can be made to source a -20dB output with respect to input. Makes it
possible to measure the KPA100 100W output on the WM-2 1W range.
It is my opinion that digital meters are poor tools for peaking
tuned circuits. We don't read changing numbers the way we see fine
changes displayed by an analogue instrument.
