[Elecraft] K2 phase noise

Always learn things reading the posts here.

I can monitor my K2 with an djacent FT-1000MP.  The signal is clean and =
sweet, but off frequency a hash is heard.

Q:  is this the "phase noise" recently referred to?

Q:  How is it "getting out?"  My real question is, can it be filtered?  =
For example, what if I put a 1:1 balun right at the out put of the K2, =
might this filter it?  What about bead balun at that point???  Or what =
have you?
