A few weeks ago I talked to Denny, W7SNH who mentioned he had worked
one of the T33C operators near the end of the DXpedition and discussed
the SSB quality with him.  As I recall, he was able to pin down the
problem to the known sensitivity to the magnetic field of a nearby
linear power supply (apparently the T33C team was unaware of this).  A
rearrangement of the equipment improved the audio, but that was after
most of their SSB QSOs had taken place.
