[Elecraft] To inventory or not inventory, that is the question...

FWIW, I make a practice of the following

1) receive
2) inventory (just counting parts looking for missing ones)
3) read assembly manual through completely
4) sort parts (by grouping in categories (resistors, capacitors, diodes, etc)
and by index (R1, R2, etc) to make finding them during assembly easier
5) start assembly
...

maybe it is a little obcessive
but it works for me
