[Elecraft] Looking for a couple Hakko 936-X T/C Soldering Station Users

Hi Folks:

Seems the reflector may have been down a while... hope it's back up now... 
guess we'll see.

I just put what I hope are the finishing touches on a PDF containing 
modification docs to add a REAL (e.g. worthwhile) POWER ON/OFF LED mod for 
my Hakko 936-X T/C soldering station.

The one thing I've always felt the Hakko lacked was an LED POWER ON 
indicator which didn't of on/off with heat being applied to the iron... 
heat being applied... red LED illuminated, NO heat applied, red LED 
extinguished. Several(!) times, I've quickly glanced at the soldering 
station... saw no LED lit and left the shack thinking the station was 
turned OFF... came back DAYS later, only to find that it's been cooking tip 
all that time.

This mod adds a green LED which is on any time power's applied to the unit.

What I'd like to have, before too many folks consider implementing the mod, 
is for a few users to download the PDF (available at 
http://www.qsl.net/n0ss, in the "Files Related to Building" section), and 
read thru it.. maybe even performing some of the steps BUT NOT necessarily 
installing the mod.

I've implemented the mod twice now, but didn't actually document the steps 
until later, so I need someone else to look thru the docs to see if they 
appear to read correctly.

Any takers?
