TLF <http://home.iae.nl/users/reinc/TLF-0.2.html> will do logging and
work in conjunction with hamlib <http://hamlib.sourceforge.net/> to
control the K2. Although TLF (which is curses-based, not graphical) is
primarily designed for contest use, I find it quite satisfactory for
use as a general logging program (I haven't yet installed a KIO2 and
therefore don't have any experience with hamlib, but according to the
documentation it does have a TLF backend).
xlog <http://www.qsl.net/pg4i/linux/xlog.html> also interfaces with
hamlib.
You can find a large list of ham radio programs for Linux at
<http://radio.linux.org.au>.
