I have studied the messages from this reflector for a while before buying a
K2.  The info here are very good
and has given a good insight on what to look out for when planning the
building of it.
As I got an offer on a used K2, I am now the happy owner of K2 #3431.  I am
putting in the bandpassfilter mod
for Europe as described by DL7MAJ, and the diode mod for large signals
handling at the moment.
As well as putting in the 160 m kit  and the PLL reference update.
Any ideas of any specific other mods that would be worthwhile to perform??

I am also looking for a KAF2. If there is someone that has one in excess i
would be happy to buy it.
Shipment will be to New York, as a friend of mine is going there during
easter.
