Hi, I am working on my K2 and have just finished Part II assembly. I =
ran into difficulty with the PLL Reference Oscillator Range Test. The =
Ref. High Freq. is 12098.98 and the low is 12085.29. The manual states =
that the range must be between 9.8 and 13 kHz. This is 10.04kHz. Is =
that close enough?? or must it be exact? =20

I tried to find the section on trouble shooting to figure it out but was =
unsuccessful. This error is quite minute. Could it be because the =
tolerance in some of the components? =20

I continued to do the alignments and tests. I did find that I had not =
installed a capacitor and some of the VCO voltages in the middle of the =
chart were not where they should have been. When the cap was installed =
they were right on. All tests in the series were right where they should =
be except for the PLL Reference Oscillator Range Test.=20

I was able to listen on 40 meters and test the filters. Every thing =
seems to work fine. Where do I look for a problem with this issue. Do I =
need to be concerned?

Having a great time working on this rig when the schedule allows. =20
