If you allow the SGC to tune first (which it does automatically when you 
send it some RF), then the coax will present a close to 50 ohm match. 
You can then press Tune on the K2 to adjust the KAT2 to match 50 ohms. 
You would be incurring some additional loss because you have two tuners 
in line, but it would probably be negligible.

Are you planning to mount the BigIR on the ground or in an elevated 
configuration?  What kind of radial system are you contemplating?
