David, I think you are running into the fact that no two K2's are =
created
exactly the same... Some of them are very much NOT the same.

I, for example, don't have the DSP module, which seems to throw a whole
bunch of issues into the mix since, from what I read, one can't simply =
lift
the amp straight up with it installed. The ground clips are simple =
springy
flat metal, so if you try to slide them "sideways" as described in one
message is needed when the DSP unit is installed will certainly cause =
the
edges to scrape and perhaps bend so they don't make contact when the amp =
is
replaced.=20

Without DSP, I don't have any trouble removing and replacing the K2/100 =
that
is different after I put the mod in. I do remove the extra four screws =
to
pull the side panel so I can see that the cables are properly "dressed" =
when
it's reinstalled.=20

indicated the shield mod caused no real additional problems.  Are there=20
others who find it the same as Don?  I wouldn't consider Don's answer=20
to be a simple change in operations.
