The KDSP2 manual explains how to set the filters, but it cannot anticipate
what filtering will sound better or worse to any particular individual.  Our
ears are quite sensitive (usually :-) and sound perception is very, very
subjective.

First, walk through the entire "how to" section and try each control so you
are familiar with how to set up and operate the KDSP2.

Next, using the defaults, cycle through the preset filters using the AFIL
control on the K2 on both CW and SSB.  If you find a filter you don't like,
go to the KDSP2 menu while you are listening to the kind of signal you want
to use that filter for, and play with the filter settings until it is
closest to how you want it.

If you have the newest K2 and KDSP2 firmware, you'll have a
2-button-simultaneously shortcut to toggle the notch (SSB mode) and denoiser
(SSB and CW modes) on and off.
