Jeff,

I have a Butternut HF9V ground mounted in the backyard. I also have a
full sized G5RV which is anchored to the house at one end, then goes to
a tree (center connector) and then makes a right turn and the other end
terminates at a mast.

My favorite of the two is the HF9V. It plays well, and just about
everything I hear, I can work. For details on my installation you can
check out:

The greatest coup for me was working V73GJ on February 7th of this year.
Jeff was on Kwajalein Atoll in the Marshall Islands. I was using the
Butternut with the K1 at 5 watts. It worked out to be over 1, 400 miles
per watt.

By the way, did you get your front panel probelm figured out?
