[Elecraft] K60XV This is going to be expensive

I just had a look at the K60XV manual which is up at elecraft.com.
Looks like just about everone will have to modify or install the
firmware in  the K2 the KAT2, the KAT100 and the KPA100 needs a mod
and firmware.  This includes KAT100's and KPA100 prior to March. Mine
were born in January.  Then if your KPA100 is in the top cover you
need a new lower back cover with two new holes.  Just what I always
needed. =20

To get the new functions on the DSP you need new firmware which is $20
plus either new firmware for the K2 or included with the K60XV.

Are we going to get some package deal?  Am I going to have to give up
beer?  Do I really need this?
