[Elecraft] Soldering din plugs?

Looking for suggestions on soldering din plugs. I normally use a socket 
to keep the pins in alignment, but I cannot
seem to find a socket for the dp8-262 which is slightly different than 
the normal din plug. I thought of pushing
the pins in a damp sponge, but that may keep things too cool. Any other 
thoughts?
