[Elecraft] Computer control

I have a new (Used) K2 and am absorbing everything to use it.  Love it so
far. Purchased a serial to USB adaptor and hooked up the I/O cable and set
the com port USB to serial.  Cannot get it to see the radio.  Using N4PY
software and have that set properly.  Not too much in the manual on this.
Is there a menu setting or anything else to get this going.  Please.
