This is VERY useful on 80 and 160 meters where antenna bandwidth is 
often limited.  For example, my 80 meter antenna has an SWR of about 1.3 
at 3.525 MHz but hits 2.0 around 3.550.  A wider range would make it 
possible to move around more freely without using a tuner.
