[Elecraft] K1 Alignment and test problem

When I turned on the K1 for the alignment and test (p.36 of the manual),
I got nothing - no LED lit up, and nothing on the LCD.  All components
were cool, as was the cord from the power supply to the K1.  I looked at
troubleshooting, problem 00, and everything there appears to check out.
