The first thing that must happen to the K2 internal keyer for it to be
useful, is for it to be a separate chip.  As long as it is part of the
radio's software, it is merely a convenience during portable operation.

Also, suggest folks take a look at the Island Keyer.  It is a kit,
inexpensive, and has more functions and memories available than the
Super-keyer.  I upgraded to it last year.
