Hello Fraser,
I'll second that request!
I wouldn't trade or sell my K2 for anything - it's the best cw rig I've
ever owned, and I include in that comparision, my IC-746PRO.
However - I don't use the K2's internal keyer for two reasons:
- My Logikey K-3 supports ACS, and generates beautifully timed code with
perfect 'weighting'.
- The K2's keyer doesn't support ACS, and the weighting IMHO, is too
heavy, even when the 'dot' setting in the secondary menu is set to 0.90,
which is as low as it goes. I realize that the impression of correct
'weighting' can be very subjective, so this is only my humble opinion.
