[Elecraft] K2 KSB SSB adapter - monitoring own audio

Finished my K2 last week, incl. many options !
Worked this weekend a couple USA stations in the ARRL contest with my 10 =
Watts and a simple wire. Wooh !!!! What an experience !!!!!

I now wanted to adjust my SSB audio, using the SSBA parameter in  "'BAL"
I undestood it is possible then to hear your own SSB on the headphone.
But: I hear nothing..................

I think I use this procedure in a wrong way, but I am not sure.
Anybody who has an idea? (or can explain this procedure clearly ?)
