[Elecraft] Display = E00.0 0.24

Folks,

A bit of a problem.  I've had a KSB2 unbuilt sitting around for several 
years. Just wired it up and did the install. But a problem:

The display goes from frequency readout to LoBatt and the "S-Meter" 
shows E00.0  0.24 indicating no voltage. In fact, though, there is 13.6 
V and the K2 sounds as if it works normally. I've removed the KSB2, the 
KAF2, the KAT2 and the KIO2 (without replacing jumpers, etc.) and the 
LoBatt still cycles in with the freq display and I still have E00.0 
0.24.

I've checked all the pads as part of the KSB2 installation for shorts, 
etc. And I've checked all the installed parts for correctness.

Is it possible that an incorrect or failed part with the KSB2 in the 
main K2 is the problem or do you think I may have caused the problem 
elsewhere while performing the KSB2 install?

What are typical problems that could cause the E00.0 024 and low batt 
indication? (By the way, the battery option has not been installed.)

The K2 serial number is in the 1400s.
