[Elecraft] K2 and a noise bridge

Has anyone used a noise bridge (MFJ-202B) with the K2?  I did last night and using the procedure in the ARRL Antenna Book which is connecting known resistors soldered to a PL connector screwed to the unknown port.  I do not get a null.  Plenty of noise but however slowly I move the resistance and reactance dials the noise stays the same and the last LED is constantly lit.  Any explanation or help would be greatly appreciated.
