17 years so I'm sure it's long since expired. However
there surely must be a lot of proprietary process knowledge
in making the 5 cores, so I would still try to find the
genuine article. BTW, Newark does offer Multicore (TM) in

Does anyone have an opinion on the following Multicore solder:
Sn63/Pb37, .020", 1% Crystal 400 core. Will the 1% flux work
OK for such a small diameter? I don't recall seeing anything
below 2% before and wonder about the 1%.
