[Elecraft] k2 160m install ?

Hi folks:
I'm installing the 160m option in my K2 and have a (probably stupid!!)
question or two.

1)Does jumper W1 get removed? I think it does.
2) The solder lug on the antenna jack sits right against the rear panel.
However, I notive that this section of the panel is painted (it wasn't
masked with tape). Is it necessary to remove paint here so that the solder
lug grounds against the rear panel?
3) The lug: face down toward the RF board, or to the side? I presume I
should just bend it out away from the panel to make the solder connection?
