Actually Ron, in the WPX contest AC7 is a prefix multiplier.

I don't think we worked an AC7. We had second high # of prefixes
worked in the US and didn't work an AC7.

So that made you a rare multiplier. Rare as hen's teeth, for
everybody.

And if somebody spotted you on packet....

If you want to make contesters suffer...

...then get in the WPX CW on 40 meters at night, set your K2 to one
watt (in all that QRN) and call CQ TEST. If they seem to be getting
your number without asking for repeats, then reduce power until they
DO have trouble copying. Be sure to send in a log so if they didn't
copy your number right, they get an 18 point penalty. :>)

If I don't, this is what happens. After listening around a bit,
hearing only
contest calls, I find a clear frequency and call:

CQ CQ CQ CQ CQ DE AC7AC AC7AC AC7AC K

WHAM! About five or six guys all climbing on top of each other calling
me.
Since 7-land is hardly "scarce" I'm pretty sure of what's going on.
Anyway,
if I'm feeling stubborn I'll assume the best and answer...
