[Elecraft] K2 Frequency accuracy by band

In addition to Don's comments, the firmware improved the frequency accuracy
several rev's back. I wonder if you have current firmware. The update that
helped the dial accuracy goes back to 2002 according to my notes.

The last time I looked closely at my K2 was on Jan 4, 2003 while preparing
to test a new VCO mod. It showed an error of no greater than 50 Hz on any
band in the dial accuracy, except up at 29.7 MHz where the error reached 80
Hz (compared to an error of 60 Hz at 28 MHz). The lower bands had less
error.

I'm current using ver 2.03d which isn't the latest, but I don't recall if
I've upgraded since then.

Jeff,

You should be able to achieve +/- 30 Hz on 10 meters with a bit of care and
patience.
