[Elecraft] Raspy CW on 80 Meters

I had not been on 80 for the several years I have had my K2, so a couple of
days ago I got on the lower end of 80 Meters and got several reports of my
CW sounding raspy or having AC hum. I do not have this problem on any other
bands and it seems to be only on the lower end of 80 meters and when I run
more then 2 or 3 watts. I am aware of the problem of transformers
effecting the K2 so I keep my power supplies below the desk. The problem
appears to be only on the low end of 80 meters (3.7 and below). I go up to
4.0 MHz and do not hear it. My VCO voltages at 3.5 MHz is 2.0V and at 4.0
MHz is 6.5 volts. I can adjust L30 to set the 4.0 MHz voltage to the
original 6.0V and it makes the 3.5 MHz voltage 1.8V. Unfortunately I still
have the problem.

I am using a Astron 10A for my K2 and a Astron 20A for KPA100.

I do not think it is caused by magnetic coupling as I have moved my clock
and turned off the computer and monitor and it still occurs.

Any ideas.

Thanks
