[Elecraft] K1 Crystal Grounding

I just did the BFO and OFS realignment on my K1 because I wanted a 
different sidetone.  While opened, I noticed that the IF crystal cases 
were not grounded (not built by me). I no that this can affect filter 
blow-by and the shape of the filter curve, but will I be able to hear a 
diff if I go ahead and ground them?

Serial number is under 800, does anyone know if the original 
instructions did not call for grounding the crystals?  All other 
crystals are grounded (band board for example).

Just wondering. I will prob go ahead and ground them and see.
