If your K2 is not a Rev B unit, then the answer is yes.  No one has reported
to me that they have experienced this AND that they are running a Rev B
unit.

Control board:

R6: change to 100 ohms.  This is the most important change with respect to
this problem.  Original value of 470 ohms is too high.

C12: change to .0027uF (272).  This is for Rev B consistency.

RF board:

R64: change to 100 ohms.  This is for Rev B consistency.
