[Elecraft] RE: VFO moving in steps

Bob, I recorded 3 such "steps" before attempting to discern why. I will
define a step as a shift in frequency of the VCO at TP1 and a shift in
voltage measured at the junction of R30 and R31.

	Display		TP1(measure with		Note:
				on board freq. ctr.)	The measured frequency did not vary at between the
steps.
	4000.00khz		8913.6
	3996.47khz		8913.05
	3996.38khz		8908.6

Page 108 of the manual states:
	"U4 provides coarse tuning (5khz steps). Fine steps are achieved using a 12
bit DAC (U5) to tune a voltage-controlled crystal oscillator (Q19) which is
the PLL (U4) reference oscillator."
