[Elecraft] SSB issues

My K2 was fun to build and is fun to operate. I have
made hundreds of QSOs QRP. The contacts give me good
audio reorts. As I am putting the finishing touches on
the K2 ,there are a few issues i have not been able to
resolve. The VOX hums and the LSB audio is tinny;
lacks mid to lowrange reponse. Calibration does not
seem to be the issue. I would like sugguestions on
components that will improve the LSB TX audio quality
and ways to reduce the humin VOX TX audio
