[Elecraft] NB problem...one for the experts?

Ron,
My best bet is that you will find something loose (or not soldered). Most
likely on the NB board or the header that connects it to the RF board. Yes,
I know you said it has been working there for 2 years, but sometimes
unsoldered connections behave like that - wait until just the right amount
of corrosion builds up on the metals, then ...
Basis for my conclusion - the AUX DC connectror is located right next to the
NB, and I surmise that with the KPA100 in place, the wires to that connector
put a bit of pressure on the NB board causing it to not work. OK, OK, I
don't know why it works when powered from the QRP power connector? Unless
you are removing the KPA100 when you make that test.
