Rich,

That is a photo of an early prototype of the K2, and that pushbutton and LED
never even made it as far as the Field Test models.  My SN 00020 does not
have the indicator and extra pushbutton.

I once knew what Wayne was going to do with them, but have forgotten.  The
functions they were intended to do were implemented another way, so nothing
was really lost.

I am surprised that Eric has not provided a new photo by this time - it has
only been 5 busy years for Elecraft <G>
